Havanatur Appoints New Territorial Manager

Ivon Maria Carballo is from now on Havanatur’s new territorial manager for the Cuban western province of Matanzas, home to the island nation’s number-one beach destination: Varadero. With ample experience in the travel industry, Mrs. Carballo has served in a number of stints, including hotel desk clerk, public relations officer, management assistant, deputy manager and general manager.

From her new post, Mrs. Carballo will see to the implementation of new plans and initiatives aimed at highlighting Cuba’s best cultural values.
