Guyana’s Tourism Ministry Unveils “Rediscover Home” Package on Website
The ministry of tourism has officially launched its ‘rediscover home’ package for Guyanese wishing to return home for Phagwah. Minister responsible for tourism, Irfaan Ali noted that this is part of the ministry’s effort to advance the tourism sector.
Representative of the Hindu Dharmic Shaba Vindi Persaud said this is a good way for Guyanese living abroad to participate in the celebration. Princess hotel, Cara Lodge and grand costal among other hotels will be offering special packages during the week. Caribbean airlines will also be offering fares as low as 580 us dollars for New York customers.
