Grupo Aeromexico Reports 8.7 Percent Increase in demand

Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V., the largest global airline in Mexico, reports operating statistics for August 2013.

Grupo Aeromexico's demand in August 2013 increased 8.7% year-on-year; the most significant monthly increase reported since February 2012. The total number of passengers transported increased by 7.5% year-on-year, reaching a total of one million 389 thousand passengers during August 2013.

Aeromexico's capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 3.3% year-on-year. The August load factor was therefore 79.4%; a four percentage point increase, year-on-year.

Year to date, Aeromexico has reached 90.1% on-time departure; a 12 percentage point improvement, year-on-year.
