Grupo Aeromexico Reports 3.4 Percent Increase in Demand

Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V., the largest global airline in Mexico, reports operating statistics for June 2013. Grupo Aeromexico's demand in June, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased 3.4% year-on-year.

The total number of passengers transported during June 2013 reached 1 million 255 thousand; a 1.3% year-on-year increase. Aeromexico's capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 0.4% year-on-year. The load factor for June was therefore 79.0%; a 2.2 percentage point increase, year-on-year.

Year to date, Aeromexico has reached 91.5% on-time departure performance; a 10.8 percentage point improvement, year-on-year.
