Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit Names Managing Director

Ignacio Mendoza Valenzuela has joined the management team at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit as managing director.

Mr. Mendoza earned a degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Universidad La Salle in Cancun and immediately began his work as a professional in Amsterdam at the Le Meridien Apollo.

He has also held positions with Carrousel Hotel Cancun-Riviera Maya as operations manager, Hotel Presidente InterContentinal Cancun and Guadalajara as director of food and beverage, Hotel Casa de Campo La Romana in the Dominican Republic as executive assistant manager/director of food and beverage and Hotel Secrets Marquis in Los Cabos as resident manager.
