GOGO Releases Hot Spot Guide for 2009

GOGO Worldwide Vacations released a guide to the emerging vacation hot spots for 2009. GOGO, which services almost 20,000 United States travel agents, has studied recent sales data and other factors that could influence short-term demand to identify 10 hot “new” locations for U.S. travelers for 2009.

GOGO President Dean Smith said the hot spots included a mix of domestic and international locations with diverse tourist appeal. “Ecotourism and experiential travel are very firmly on travelers’ radars and next year’s hot spots reflect these emerging trends,”

GOGO’s 2009 Hot Spots include St. Lucia, Caribbean; Washington, D.C.; Bali, Indonesia; Cap Cana, Dominican Republic; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Dominica, Caribbean; Portugal, Europe; Central America (Belize and Costa Rica); Mexico (Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta), and Kauai, Hawaii.
