Gerry Cahill Picked President & CEO of Carnival Cruise Lines

Gerry Cahill is the new president and CEO of Carnival Cruise Lines, replacing Bob Dickinson, who officially retired on November 30 after 35 years with the company. The two executives worked together for several months as Cahill transitioned into his new post.
Although he may not have a high profile among travel agents yet, Cahill, 56, has worked with parent company Carnival Corp. since 1994, most recently serving as executive vice president and CFO.
