Frontier Resuming Cancun Flights, Adding Another Route
Frontier Airlines expects to resume all of its flights to Cancun by the end of the month. The flights were canceled as Hurricane Wilma struck the area in October.
Denver-based Frontier says the flights will resume from some cities beginning November 5. The airline has five flights to Cancun. The airline will begin offering a new route, between Indianapolis and Cancun, starting in March next year.
Beginning November 5, Frontier will resume flights between Denver and Cancun, initially only on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Daily service should resume by November 19.
Service between Cancun and Salt Lake City and between Cancun and Kansas City will resume November 19. Flights between those cities are offered only on Saturdays.
Passengers from Nashville will be able to fly to Cancun again November 19 with southbound flights on Saturdays and northbound flights the following Fridays.
The St. Louis-Cancun route will resume service November 20, initially with Sunday flights only.
