Felix Larrosa Appointed New Director General of Turespaña
The Council of Ministers of Spain appointed Felix Larrosa new director general of Spain’s National Tourism Institute (Turespaña) to replace Amparo Fernandez. Mrs. Fernandez was named to the post of Tourism General Secretary.
Mr. Larrosa has served a number of stints in the Spanish travel industry, including General Manager of Turisme de Lleida and counselor to the Business and Convention Center.
Mr. Larrosa is a graduate of Law School at the University of Lleida and holds a master degree in Tourism Management in ESADE.
He has vast experience in the industry and taught at the Tourism College between 2002 and 2002. He’s had a hands-on participation in several seminars, lectures and conferences linked to the hospitality sector.
