EasyJet Holidays will become a tour operator through a new partnership with TUI Travel’s OTA Hotelopia.

The company has completed its contract with low-cost beds and will now work with Hotelopia to provide holidays across Europe to multiple European source markets.

Its UK holidays will fall under ATOL protection, while new websites are planned for France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands all protected under local regulations.

The contract will run from May 2014 for three and a half years up to the end of 2017, with the pair previously working together to provide hotel accommodation to easyJet passengers.

The new websites will include more than 27,000 self-catering options through Interhome; the Spanish Paradores Hotels brand and Disneyland Paris Hotels. Hotelopia is now recruiting up to 100 people in Mallorca. EasyJet Holidays had previously been working with low-cost beds since 2011.
