Dynamic Leisure Group Hires Caribbean Expert for Top Posts

Tampa, Fla.-based Dynamic Leisure Group North America purchased Island Resort Tours, a New York-based Caribbean specialist, and tapped two industry veterans to top posts.

Stephen Hicks, IRT´s owner and president, was named president of the group while Nigel Osborne was appointed executive vice president and COO. Osborne most recently was president of Auto Europe´s vacation packaging unit Destination Europe Resources.

According to Dynamic Leisure Group, the company is built around proprietary software that is designed to facilitate dynamic packaging on the Web. The company plans to leverage its technology to enable travel agents to offer dynamic packaging on their own Web sites, as well as to create its own Web portal for packaging travel products in the Caribbean and later in Europe.
