DR’s Casa de Campo Names Daniel Hernandez General Manager

The Dominican Republic’s Casa de Campo resort named Daniel Hernandez general manager, with responsibility for day-to-day operations at the resort, which is completing a two-year, $40 million transformation. Mr. Hernandez was most recently general manager at AMResorts.

Mr. Hernandez has also worked with Occidental Hotels and Resorts, and prior to that was a partner of Imperial Hotels & Resorts, where he managed a chain of small luxury properties in Bogotá.

Mr. Hernandez began his hospitality career at age 16 as a chef in training at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris and continued in the field, working at numerous five-star properties, and after returning to his native Colombia.
