Dominican Hotels Fork Over Millions of Bucks in Remodeling Effort
Villa Dorada and the Jack Tar Village, two of the first hotels built in the Playa Dorada tourism complex in the Dominican Republic, are currently being remodeled with a global investment of more than $5 million.
Regarding Jack Tar Village, Playa Dorada Hoteliers Association executive director Manuel Finke said that this particular facility is meant for a youthful clientele, while Villa Dorada would be destined to attract couples. “These new concepts entail strategic partnerships with important European firms,” Finke commented.
Fink spoke after announcing the “First Playa Dorada Festival” scheduled to take place at this tourism complex from October 14 through 25.
