Dominica´s Businesses Launch New Yacht Club

Dominica is a world-class destination famous for being warm and welcoming. Now, here comes sailing and boating.

The new Dominica Yacht Club is being promoted by her founding members as essential to getting the sport and the marine industry moving in Dominica.

The goals of the Yacht Club will be to promote boating and sailing in Dominica, promote the sport to the youth of Dominica through the Optimist program and encourage the development of yachting facilities for local and visiting yachts in Dominica

The new executive intends to work along with the private and public sectors to offer incentives to importers of boats which will increase the industry and create jobs and work for local service providers as well as arrange at least one major local regatta per year and feeder regattas for local and transient boats to other major regional events.
