Delta to Start Flying to Barbados in December
Commencing December 8, travelers can head to Barbados on Delta Air Lines´ new nonstop service between Atlanta´s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Barbados´ Grantley Adams International Airport.
Delta, will operate its year-round, three-times-a-week nonstop flights on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flights, will now allow travelers to depart from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and be on the island.
The new flights allow for convenient connections into Atlanta from over one hundred U.S. cities. Some of the key connecting cities include Los Angeles, San Francisco, St. Louis, Chicago, Denver, Houston and New Orleans.
“Delta´s new service from its home at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport allows an opportunity for each one of the 88 million passengers´ passing through Atlanta annually to visit Barbados and experience all that the island has to offer,” said Bill Silvermintz, Vice President of Marketing for the Americas at the Barbados Tourism Authority.
