Delta Boosts Flights to Bonaire
Delta, the world’s largest airline has increased airlift to the Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire and officials there are seeing it as recognition of the strength of the country as a vacation destination. From October 2, the airline will add a second flight from Atlanta, Georgia to Bonaire.
Delta will fly to Bonaire on Friday evenings and leave the following morning. Also, during the year-end holidays, the flights for the last two weeks in December will operate on Saturday nights, returning Sunday mornings.
Delta will operate a Boeing 737-800 jet with seating capacity for 160. This new service is in addition to Delta’s current weekly flights to Bonaire, which depart on Saturday mornings and leaving in the afternoon. Delta also offers non-stop weekly Saturday flights from New York’s John F Kennedy Airport to Bonaire.
