Delta Begins Codesharing with GOL
By Jerry Limone (Travel Weekly)

Delta has launched codeshare service with Brazilian airline Gol. Delta is now selling seats on 56 Gol flights between Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia and 15 Brazilian destinations. The number of codeshare markets is expected to increase to more than 30 by summer, Delta said.

Delta currently offers 31 weekly flights between the U.S. and Brazil, including between Atlanta and Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia; New York and Sao Paulo; and Detroit and Sao Paulo. Last year, Delta and Gol began a reciprocal frequent-flyer agreement.
