Curacao Turns Dive Mecca in May
Divers from all over the world are heading to the 2008 Curacao Dive Festival (May 24 thru 31) to experience what Scuba Diving Magazine voted “Healthiest Marine Environment in the Caribbean/Atlantic.”
During the weeklong celebration of all things aquatic, voyagers to the Mecca of Dive will explore sunken tugboats and the alien seascape of Curacao’s Mushroom Forrest.
Divers will learn the tricks of underwater photography and get to swap stories with others who have discovered the thrill and beauty of life beneath the waves.
Known for waters as clear and blue as the liquor that bears its name, the Caribbean island Curacao is the “all-you-can-eat buffet” of the diving world. More than 60 unique dive locations offer divers of all levels the ultimate underwater experience.
