Cuban Travel Agency Paradiso Unveils Own Website

Paradiso’s website, www.paradiso.cu opens up a new array of options for an agency that promotes and advertises the most important cultural events taking place in Cuba every year.

In a merger with Cubatur, Havanatur and several foreign tour operators, Paradiso’s brand-new portal has the goal of providing tourists with a richer and more diverse island nation from a cultural and artistic standpoint, paying heed to traditions and national identity.

The ceremony served as a perfect setting for the presentation of the 2004 Event Catalog, this time around spruced up with works of art by major Cuban fine artists including Ileana Mullet, whose oleo on canvass entitled “The Fort of the Birds” decorates the guidebook cover.

The latest developments on Cubadance and Folkcuba scheduled for this winter, the Fourth Iberian-American Meeting of Arts Women, the Pepe Sanchez International Troubadour Festival in Santiago de Cuba this summer, and the Tenth International Meeting of Ballet Academies could be either thumbed through the pages of the pulp catalog or clicked on its dot-com version.
