Cuba, Poland now Linked by Direct Flights

Bi-monthly charter flights were inaugurated on Saturday between Warsaw, Poland, and Varadero Beach in Cuba with the arrival of a plane with 250 Polish vacationers aboard.

The flights are operated by the Polish state airline LOT and will continue for five months, until March 2014.

This is the first time that Poland and Cuba have been linked by direct tourist flights, operated in Poland by Rainbow Tours and Tui, and in Cuba by the Cubanacan Travel Agency.
