Cuba offers sommelier course for women

The “Sergio Perez” Hotelier and Tourism School in Cuba has just opened its second sommelier course for women with a view to expand the breed of female wine connoisseurs, a specialty men have usually kept a tight grip on for generations. The course includes the wine ritual, the world’s top producers, its benefits and food match. The course will be taught by Marta Señan, Cuba’s only active sommelier.
