(On with the Countdown: 360 Days to Go) New Tourism Products in 2015

Santiago de Cuba City is going to have a Leisure Center, a tourism product conceived for the whole family to enjoy. It will be one of the sector-related works to be inaugurated within the framework of the anniversary of the foundation of this village, in July 2015.

The first of its kind in the province, it will have a privileged position at Victoriano Garzón Ave, in a roomy premise known as Casa Blanca (White House) because of the color of its façade.

The building belonged to a State-run institution and once it is operational, it will be managed by Palmares Extra hotel Group’s Santiago branch.

With a project that is going to make the most of both indoor and outdoor areas, it will have offers for adults, adolescents and children, with electronic games and an adventure playground.

Likewise, the facility is going to feature mini golf, 3D hall, pool, classic games, restaurant, cafeteria, bar, smoker’s area and cybercafé.

Among other tourism-related investments for July 2015, the province will develop The Coffee Paths (Los Caminos del Café) project with the ruins of the Archaeological Passage with the first coffee plantations in the Cuban southeast region, declared World’s Heritage, and the refurbishment of the eclectic-styled Imperial hotel.

Furthermore, a hotel is going to be built at the tourism marina of the head city.
