Costa Cruises Names Diana Riel Business Manager for Florida

Costa Cruises named Diana Riel business development manager for the North Broward, Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties of Florida, announced Scott Knutson, vice president of sales for Costa Cruise Lines-North America. In her new position, she will report directly to Bill Dwyer, director of field sales.

Of her more than 20 years in the travel industry, Ms. Riel spent nearly nine with Costa, starting out as group sales manager. From there, she was promoted to director of group sales and incentives, a position she held prior to joining MSC Cruises USA as regional sales director for the last two years.

Prior to joining Costa, Ms. Riel was general manager of the regional reservations center for Hilton Hotel Corp. in Miami. She has also held positions with American Express Travel Services.
