Costa Concordia Search Crews Find Five More Bodies

Five more bodies were found in the Costa Concordia wreck, bringing the death toll to 30 with two missing and presumed dead. News reports from Italy said the bodies were found between the ship’s hull and the seabed. The Costa Cruises vessel struck rocks and partially submerged Jan. 13.  

Costa earlier this week announced that the process for removing fuel from the ship would be completed March 23. The company is evaluating bids to remove the ship, a procedure that could take up to a year.
