Copa Reveals Growth Plan, Includes New Direct Service to Boston

Copa Airlines will launch new direct service to Boston, Massachusetts its 8th US route and boost frequency of flights to three of its key sites; plus expand fleet, according to the airline s newly revealed growth strategy for the first half of this year.

The airline, a subsidiary of Copa Holdings, S.A., will be able to maintain its status as a leader in the region via growth and will deliver the top and most convenient links across Latin America via the Hub of the Americas in Panama, plus offer additional flight choices to its passengers and superior connectivity throughout its wide network of routes.

The airline is slated to obtain seven new Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft with new Sky Interior design in 2013. After the delivery of these planes, Copa will have 90 contemporary and competent aircraft in its fleet.

The carrier's nonstop growth in recent years has been beneficial not just for the economy of Panama, but for the expansion of business and tourism in Latin America as well, through connecting major markets with numerous cities via its extensive route network. So, Copa is still making investments to expand its Hub of the Americas in Panama, operating additional flights to new destinations all over the continent.

Copa Airlines will launch direct flights to Boston to bolster its North American route network on 10th July. The passengers traveling from several cities including Sao Paulo, Bogota, San Jose, Lima and Santiago will see augmented as well as convenient flight options then.
