CLIA Names Lanie Fagan Director of Communications

Cruise Lines International Association named Lanie Fagan as director of communications, based in the Fort Lauderdale office. Before joining CLIA, Mrs. Fagan was the associate director of corporate communications with KPMG in Montvale, N.J.

Prior to that, Mrs. Fagan was the senior media and community relations specialist for FPL Energy. Her career includes positions as director of corporate communications for Visual Data Corp., public relations manager at Verizon Wireless and account supervisor for Bitner Goodman Public Relations.

Mrs. Fagan has an international background, having been born in Spain, and raised in Canada and Hungary.
