Classic Vacations Offers Credit to Clients with Mexicana Bookings

In the wake of Mexicana Airlines ceasing sales activities and limiting all of Mexicana Airlines sales channels from offering flights, taking bookings and issuing tickets, Classic Vacations will credit clients with tickets on Mexicana Airlines with the full value of their original airfare applied toward new flights booked through Classic, without penalty.

Customers are subject to any increase in the new airfare. Classic will contact all agents with affected bookings to assist with customer service.

For ticketed passengers who purchased the Classic Travel Smart Plan or the Classic Waiver with their original booking, Classic Vacations will apply the value of the original Mexicana Airline ticket toward the purchase of a new flight through Classic. Classic Vacations “highly recommends” that travel agents and their clients not dispute the original charge on their credit card as this will prevent changing the itinerary.
