Cinnamon Bay St. John Offers Budget Caribbean
St. John in the Virgin Islands National Park Cinnamon Bay Campground has been offering inexpensive eco-experiences since they first opened. Priced to reach even the most budget conscious travelers, a Beachfront Cottage is priced at $140; Beach view Cottages at $125; Cottages at $110; Tents at $80 and Baresites at $27.
Additional persons are $17 each, except for Baresites at $7 each. Cottage dwellers will find electric lights and an outdoor terrace; four twin beds freshly made upon arrival; and accoutrements including fan, picnic table, charcoal grill, propane gas stove, ice chest, water container and cooking and eating utensils. Cribs are available upon request.
Like all Cinnamon Bay accommodations, there’s easy access to the campground’s central bathhouses, with lavatories and cool water showers. Tent accommodations come with cots, picnic table, charcoal grill, propane gas stove, ice chest, water container, gas lantern and cooking and eating utensils. Bedding is provided upon arrival.
And the baresites feature picnic table and charcoal grill. Guests at Cinnamon Bay also have easy access to on-site services and amenities. The Tree Lizards Restaurant serves breakfast and lunch daily, as well as island specialties for dinner such as seafood and barbecue.
The campground’s General Store carries a variety of grocery items and toiletries, and the Beach Shop has swimsuits, gifts, toys and T-shirts. Other conveniences include public phones, a message center, safe deposit boxes and lockers.
