Cayman Airways Chair Resigns
Cayman Airways announced the resignations of Angelyn Hernandez, chair of the airline’s board of directors, along with board member Dax Foster. Deputy Chairman Johnny Brown will assume the role of acting chairman.
Hernandez occupied the top slot on the nine-member board for four years, during which time the CEO post changed hands three times. Patrick Strasburger was named CEO in March 2007, replacing Mike Adam, who had been with the carrier for 20 years.
Strasburger resigned in July 2008 and was replaced by acting CEO Gilles Filiatreault and CEO designate Olson Anderson, who remain in those positions.
