Carnival’s Brenda Yester to Chair Make-A-Wish Board

Brenda Yester, vice president of revenue management for Carnival Cruise Lines, has been appointed chair of the board of directors of The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida.

Yester, of Southwest Ranches, has been a volunteer wish-granter and board officer/member since 2003 and recently chaired the committee writing the non-profit organization’s long-term strategic plan.

She takes over the chair’s role from Ben Eisenberg, a managing director at Transwestern, who oversaw the granting of the foundation’s 7,000th local wish during his tenure. Joining Yester on the board is Lisa Bauer, vice president of hotel operations for Royal Caribbean International, who is chair-elect designate.
