Caribbean Star Welcomes FAA´s New Status

William E. “Skip” Barnette, president and CEO of Caribbean Star Airlines and Caribbean Sun Airlines, has issued a statement welcoming the recent upgrade of the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority to Category One status by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.

In February 2006, Caribbean Star and Caribbean Sun announced that they had initiated a comprehensive review of their shared strategic business plan in an effort to fast-track long-term growth and development.

Among the expansion options being discussed are added intra-regional routes throughout the Caribbean, as well as new service to markets outside the region.
