Caribbean Gold Coast Awards Tap Hotelier of the Year

Carlos Jiménez Ruiz, Caribbean Area Development director for the IFA Grupo Lopesan chain, was bestowed with the Hotelier of the Year prize at the Bavaro-Punta Cana destination at the 12th annual Caribbean Gold Coast Award.

The award, which takes place in the destination of Puerto Plata, aims to recognize the work of tourism industry executives in the Dominican Republic.

Awards ceremony chairman Leonardo Medrano said Jiménez has worked hard to develop the Bávaro-Punta Cana destination, collaborating with social issues such as defending and protecting the area’s environment.
