Canada's Biggest Theme Waterpark Welcomes its Millionth Guest

A festive mood energized Calypso Theme Waterpark today as its millionth visitor crossed the turnstiles. Calypso Park's team gathered to congratulate and give an unforgettable welcome to the Weilbrenner-Masson family of L'Assomption, which received VIP treatment for its entire visit, including an exclusive gift, to fully enjoy the site's numerous attractions.

Calypso stands out through its sheer size, with an aquatic section covering over 100 acres and over 35 waterslides, 100 water games, the country's largest wave pool and all heated pools. Officially opened in summer 2010 following an investment of over $50 million, this waterpark has had a remarkable freshman year and won several awards for the quality of its installations. This year is proving no different, as the company kicked off its season with two awards under its belt, namely Company of the Year, given by RGA, and Innovation of the Year, given by Ottawa Tourism.
