Canada’s XaraguaR Launches Interac Online on Website

XaraguaR, a Canadian Trade-Mark operated by Xaragua Enterprise Corporation launched Interac Online on its website http://www.xaragua.com/ this January 2008 after a successful integration to its current list of payment options because of increasing demand from its Canadian customers to provide a readily available payment method that are safer, familiar, and reliable as an alternative to Paypal a widely used e-commerce payment method.

The roadmap to integrate newly emerged online payment systems is tough, especially for small and mid-size enterprise’s (SME) limited budget. However, this Canadian company did just that while other major U.S. & Canadian Internet retailers still drag behind.

Since XaraguaR began its online operations in 2003 Canadian customers and prospect customers informed the company if a more familiar payment alternative to the world wide known Paypal could be available.

Now, Interac Online makes this possible for smaller Internet retailers to reach customers that would have otherwise gone elsewhere since they either have no credit cards or just do not like the idea of providing their personal information to another third party.

To start, the marriage between XaraguaR’s e-commerce system and the newly added payment module has a simple mechanism. When ready to pay, Canadian customers simply send an Interac Email Money Transfer to XaraguaR.

During the process, Canadian customers specify the amount and desired account for the payment, provide the name and e-mail address of Xaragua, create a security question only Xaragua will be able to answer, and submit the request and an e-mail notification will be sent to out to the recipient.
