California Governor, Israel Tourism Minister Sign Agreement
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Israel’s Tourism Minister Isaac Herzog signed A]agreement to promote Israel-California tourism.
Gov. Schwarzenegger and Isaac Herzog signed a memorandum of understanding in Los Angeles agreeing to promote tourism between Israel and the Sunshine State.
Mr. Schwarzenegger called Israel a fascinating country and said he would work to promote tourism between his state and Israel. Minister Herzog called the agreement important, saying it would strengthen relations between the two.
As many as 300 million tourists visit California every year, contributing $90 billion to the state economy. The agreement calls for greater cooperation in the field of tourism and development of a positive environment for tourism entrepreneurship.
