BVI Tourist Board Appoints New Director of Tourism

The Board of Directors of the British Virgin Islands’ Tourist Board announced last week the appointment of Janis Braithwaite-Edwards as Director of Tourism of the British Virgin Islands.

Braithwaite-Edwards has years of experience under her belt in the local travel industry, where she served as acting tourism director for quite some time.

According to the press release announcing her appointment, Braithwaite-Edwards’ outgoing attitude and great expertise in the field are some of the essential qualities that make her qualified for the position.
