BVI’s Peter Island Resort Introduces New Villas
The British Virgin Island’s Peter Island Resort introduced the newest addition to its Villa Estate Program: Falcon’s Nest. The 8,000-square-foot, six-bedroom private island residence features its own personal chef, housekeeper, valet and butler and, all overseen by the villa manager.
As an added bonus to philanthropic guests, Peter Island is participating in the Preferred Hotel Group’s first ever global GIFTTS: Great Initiatives for Today’s (Tomorrow’s) Societies Giving Room program.
From June 1 to Sept. 30, 2007, 10 percent of the revenue generated by Falcon’s Nest Villa will be donated to the resort’s local charities of choice: Virgin Islands Search & Rescue (VISAR), which provides a 24-hour search and rescue service in the British Virgin Island’s waters and Kids And The Sea (KATS), which promotes kids’ safety in boats and around the sea. Villa features include a custom-made 12-person, hand-crafted Tiger maple dining room table and chairs; a flat-screen television monitor that rises out of built-in cabinetry; a two- story Great Room with an elevated terrace; rain showers with over 150 jets of colorful laser-lit streams of water; ocean-view couples Spa Room for treatments without leaving the villa; and six master bedroom suites, each with a terrace and bathroom offering indoor/outdoor space that takes full advantage of the panoramic views.
Other villa features include expansive 4,000 square-foot outdoor living space with a covered dining area, BBQ and swim-up bar; a zero-entry, two-tiered pool with a cascading waterfall, grotto and large Jacuzzi; specially designed nanny quarters; and full exercise room overlooking the ocean.
