Brazil´s Air Traffic Goes Up, Up and Away

Air traffic over Brazilian skies has been looking stronger than ever over the past twelve months.

Since October 2003, there´s been a steady increase on a monthly basis and projections point to a double-digits spike by the end of 2004.

After posting a 9.1 percent hike in 2001, the local aviation industry got bogged down a year later with a meager 0.9 percent jump, only to skid 6 percent in 2003.

The toughest span of time came over from August 2002 to September 2003 when the industry entered a fourteen-month drought period.
