As the year winds down, The Reefs Resort in Bermudas is gearing up to expand its facilities as part of the celebrations to mark its 60th anniversary. A new kitchen and redesigned restaurants, Grill 56 and Ocean Echo, will be the result of the improvements.

The spa will triple in size and open in a new location on the beach. At the same time, The Reefs Club, new private residences next door, will begin to take shape. In the meantime, Coconuts, The Reefs’ beachside restaurant, is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the first time in The Reefs history.

The Reefs marked their 60th anniversary on October 24, 2007 with a special party inviting past guests to join in the festivities. More than 55 percent of The Reefs guests are return guests.

Also, The Reefs honored all hotel staff of more than 10 years, along with many who have made The Reefs what it is today. The Resort will close for the year on December 10, 2007 and reopen April 1, 2008.
