Beaver Creek’s St. James Place Unveils Condo Renovation

St. James Place, located in the heart of Beaver Creek village in Colorado, unveiled a $5 million renovation that transformed 48 condo units in time for the 2010 ski season. St. James Place, part of Vail Beaver Creek Resort Properties, is situated less than 200 yards to the slopes at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain.

Denver-based Hospitality Pro Inc. and designer Bridget J. Hankins oversaw the project, which focused on the interiors of one- to four-bedroom condo units. The new design features warm wood tones with rich yet eclectic finishes, creating a modern European mountain décor. The concept was to achieve an inviting residential feel by using a multitude of woven fabrics and textures such as leather and natural stone.

Each condo offers a full kitchen with surfaces of granite, tile and stainless steel. The color palette incorporates vibrant earth tones with warm shades of brown, deep reds and greens, while contemporary artwork adds a splash of color.

The bedrooms are accompanied by spacious bathrooms enhanced by wood, granite, marble and travertine finishes, open glass showers with rain showerheads and brushed stainless steel fixtures. Each condo unit offers washers, dryers, gas fireplaces, spa tubs and balconies.

St. James Place offers a total of 108 condo units and is just steps away from ski lifts, boutiques, galleries, restaurants, a year-round ice skating rink and the Vilar Center for the performing arts. The property features an exercise center, indoor pool, indoor/outdoor hot tubs and high-speed Internet.
