Barceló Crestline Corporation Appoints Raphael de la Vega as Vice President of Development & Asset Management

Barceló Crestline Corporation announced the appointment of Raphael de la Vega to Vice President of Development & Asset Management. Mr. de la Vega will be headquartered in Cancun and will focus on acquisitions and development throughout Mexico.

He will work in conjunction with Fernando Mulet, also Vice President of Development & Asset Management, headquartered in Barceló Crestline’s corporate offices in McLean, VA.

Mr. de la Vega has 30 years of hospitality industry experience under his belt and has held senior management and operations positions in Mexico with Mayan Riviera Group, Avalon Resorts Corporation, and in the United States with Hospitality Services IFG in Schaumburg, Illinois, Holiday Inns International as well as Hilton Corporation.

Mr. de la Vega will use his expertise to help identify investment opportunities to grow the Playa Hotels & Resorts, S.L. portfolio in Mexico. He will also assist with needed feasibility studies and will provide asset management guidance for the all-inclusive properties currently owned in Mexico.
