Barbados’ Sandy Lane Hires Vanessa Williams in Sales Post

Barbados’ Sandy Lane appointed Vanessa Williams as executive assistant manager/sales, marketing and hotel operations. In her new role, Williams will oversee the global management of sales, marketing and public relations on behalf of the resort and will also be actively involved in the day to day operations of Sandy Lane.

Prior to her appointment at Sandy Lane, she was hotel manager/EAM sales & marketing at Raffles L’Ermitage in Beverly Hills, where she oversaw the day to day operations along with leading the sales and marketing efforts of the 119-room hotel.

She served as director of marketing at the Intercontinental Hong Kong and director of sales and marketing at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, where she took a lead role in the successful renovation and re-launch of the flagship property. She has also held positions with Nikko Hotels in the U.S. and Asia Pacific.
