Bahamasair will push ahead with more layoffs

Bahamasair will slash 60 employees from its payroll in a continued stream of layoffs due to financial woes, in an effort to cut costs and achieve higher effectiveness and efficiency, the management alleged.

The airline’s directors also admitted they’ve been forced to cut jobs for unethical behaviour and serious problems with its staff, including drug-trafficking practices. Quite recent the authorities found two kilograms of cocaine in the freezer of Flight 319 bound to Miami. Several flight attendants were involved in this case and they will stand trial.
