Bahamas Out Islands Launches YouTube.com Channel

The destination has no casino, no cruise port, a few small airports, no big resorts, too many beaches to count and dozens of uninhabited islands. It is the Bahamas Out Islands, and the destination’s promotion board has launched a YouTube channel touting the Out Islands as “The Real Bahamas.”

The Out Islands spans a sweeping area from the Biminis off southern Florida to Great Inagua, northeast of Cuba.

The YouTube channel features high-def videos of Abaco, Andros, Exuma, Eleuthera, Harbour Island, Cat Island, Bimini and Long Island and delivers special-interest requests based on the user’s search query (golf, luxury travel, bonefishing, weddings and honeymoons).

The promotion board is able to collect demographic information on users, such as age and gender, to better market its content to potential travelers.
