Australia Delivers Blend of Breast Implant, Tourism for U.S. Travelers
Australia is keenly promoting the concept of breast implant together with a holiday Down Under, especially to the travelers from the U.S. Australia’s newly appointed breast enlargement ambassador is reportedly encouraging American women to consider traveling to Australia for breast enhancement surgery.
The initiative comes at a stage when the nation is counting on exposure in the huge US market resulting on big bucks for Australian tourism. According to seven.com.au, Sydney cosmetic surgeon professor Peter Haerstch sees the potential but the risks as well.
According to the report, Pamela Noon, who knows cosmetic surgery and has reportedly got experience of 144 procedures, says Americans will buy it because the exchange rate makes it cheap.
“For the same price as a procedure in the States, women can get a breast implant and a two-week holiday down under. Another advantage of having surgery in Australia is the use of better materials in the implants. In the U.S. surgeons are still using old-style saline implants while Australian doctors favor superior gummy bear gel implants,” she was quoted as saying.
