Aruba on Spanish Television this Sunday

Spanish television station TVE2 has picked the Caribbean island of Aruba for an entire program on its primetime Sunday slot Paraisos Cercanos (Nearby Paradises) anchored by Raul Alda and airing on July 18 at 9:45 pm (Spanish time).

The choice of this major TV channel was made on the basis that Aruba is one of the nearby paradises for the Spanish travel market. The 55-minute film recounts the natural beauties the Happy Island (as it is also known) has to offer tourists, especially its gorgeous beaches and good security.

The footage contains a vast description of Aruba’s history and culture, as well as the huge array of options waiting for sunbathers there, such as scuba diving through breathtaking coral reefs and excellently manicured golf courses.

Nearby Paradises, that chooses only six countries a year for shooting these documentaries, will this time around be aired on TVE 24 Horas station, an Hispasat satellite uplink channel that reaches out to a considerable number of viewers in Europe and America.

Located off the Venezuelan shores, the island of Aruba is part of the Dutch Kingdom and became a self-governing entity with the Netherlands´ Commonwealth of Nation on January 1, 1986. Its residents are fluent speakers of the Spanish language.
