Aruba Property Slates 160-Room Expansion

The 40-room Coconut Inn in Aruba, which bills itself as “Aruba’s only budget motel,” will launch a $33 million, 160-room expansion project funded by a local group called Rosim Development. The completion date is set for mid-2008.

Coconut Inn is located in the interior of the island in Noord, about a mile from Aruba’s Palm Beach and three miles from the international airport. Current starting rates through December 15 in a standard studio unit are $65 per room, per night, double.
