Aruba Airport Authority Announce New Departure Tax Fees

The Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) announced the new departure tax fees, a new transfer charge and parking fees effective April 1. U.S.-bound departure tax remains $37 per passenger and $33.50 (a 50-cent increase) for international flights. Children under the age of two years are exempt.

A Transfer Charge of $3 per transferring passenger for all passengers transferring to flights to non-U.S. destinations will also be introduced as of April 1.

Passengers who departed from other airports and are traveling via Aruba to U.S. destinations are considered to be departing from Aruba and are subject to the full standard check-in procedures and therefore, all regular passenger charges are applicable to these passengers.
