Aruba’s Reina Beatrix International Airport recently installed the third out of four elevators as part of a far-reaching improvement plan for that terminal.

Passengers with disabilities or physical constraints, families with strollers or people uncomfortable using the escalator stairs are now able to use the newly installed elevator connecting Gates 5 and 6 with the Immigration area.

The Aruba Airport Authority (AAA) continuously aims to improve service at the airport and has already installed two new elevators with only one more needed for completion.

Work is already underway for the installation of the fourth elevator, connecting Gates 3 and 4 and both bus gates with the immigration area.
