Arrivals Hall Getting Upgraded at Jamaica Airport

The arrivals hall at Norman Manley Airport in Kingston, Jamaica, will be upgraded by the end of 2009, according to the Airport Authority of Jamaica. Also, three new shops and a new parking facility for tour buses will be added by year’s end.

The $1.2 million project is part of a multimillion-dollar airport modernization plan scheduled for completion in 2013. The new departures terminal at the airport is already open.
